More than 200 people enjoyed a college’s eighth annual fashion show.
The event was held on Wednesday last week at New College Stamford and showcased the talents of students studying a variety of subjects.
The budding fashion designers studying for either a Level 3 diploma or an A-level have been creating unique costumes since September based on various briefs, including one to create costumes for the performing arts students’ production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
To complement the garments, media make-up and hairdressing students also contributed and Level 3 Diploma photography students captured the build up to the event. Level 3 graphics diploma students designed posters, tickets and programmes.
Creative arts team leader Rachael Cooper said: “It is a great opportunity for them to experience the many different aspects of organising and presenting a fashion show and seeing for themselves first-hand how much time and effort goes into an event of this size.
“We are very proud of our learners.”
