College students have had the chance to show off their work at an art gallery.

Harbour Gallery at Whitwell collaborated with New College Stamford to hold an exhibition for the students studying for a foundation degree in illustration.

The exhibition marks the end of the season at the gallery, which has proved to be a fantastic success.

Sisters Suzanne and Karen Green, who organise the gallery above the Harbour Cafe and Restaurant, both hold art degrees themselves and appreciate the importance of gaining exhibition experience, which is why they chose to support the up and coming artists.

The exhibition runs until Sunday when the gallery will also close for the winter.

The gallery will run next year from April to October.
