Youngsters learned to play traditional Indonesian music at a workshop.
The Education Group came to St Mary and St John Primary School in North Luffenham to teach pupils about Gamelan music.
Children in Years 4 and 6 were able to try out some unusual instruments including gongs and metallophones.
Year 6 pupils are studying Gamelan this term and every pupil had the chance to play an instrument.
