PUPILS wore their wellies to school to celebrate this year’s harvest.
Youngsters wore boots of all shapes, colours and sizes to Edenham Primary School on Wednesday, October 12, in return for a donation to Farm Africa’s Give Poverty The Boot campaign.
During the afternoon, the school led a family service in Edenham Church, joined by children, staff and parents from Edenham Pre-School.
Children read poems or prayers they had written, sang songs or acted out a short play while dressed in their wellies.
Headteacher Kris Radford-Rea said “The children were really enthusiastic and raised a brilliant £250.”
