PUPILS were given some innovative support in their exam preparation.

Year 11 pupils at Stamford Queen Eleanor School took part in workshops provided by No Limits Education on Tuesday last week.

The workshops are designed to change students’ perceptions of exams and to help them plan their study time and personalise planning.

Pupils also learnt different tips on memory techniques, optimising their brain potential and also learning all-important relaxation skills.

Key Stage 4 progress manager and organiser of the event, Sher Alam, said: “This workshop gives students the chance to think about their revision in a completely novel way.

“All students are individuals and they all need to try out a variety of revision methods and then focus on the ones that work for them. If they can do this, then they really put themselves in the best position to achieve.”
