A firm that supports people with financial planning is celebrating after becoming the county’s first Chartered Financial Advisory practice.

Efficient Portfolio, of Grange Lane in Seaton, has achieved the chartered title, the highest qualification in the financial services industry, which is known as the gold standard.

Managing director and lead financial planner Charlie Reading has undergone 14 years of challenging exams, demonstrated an advanced knowledge of planning and ensured the firm is working in a compliant and ethical manner, to be awarded the title. Only seven percent of firms receive chartered status.

Charlie said: “This is a rubber stamp endorsing the work that we do for our clients.

“I am delighted that we have now achieved chartered firm status, as recognition of our hard work and determination to provide the very best for our clients.”
