A SOCIAL club is holding a fundraising event for a boy who needs life-saving treatment.
Cummins Social Club in Wharf Road, Stamford, is holding the event on Saturday, October 29, from 1pm onwards, which will include live music, a children’s entertainer, a tombola and a raffle.
The money raised will go towards helping Jamie Andrews, who suffers from a condition which means his body cannot make red blood cells.
His parents Sarah and Dan, of Folksworth near Stilton, have launched an appeal to raise £8,000 for IVF treatment so they can have a donor sibling for Jamie.
For tickets to the event call Graham Hirst on 07955661451.
