MORE than £400 was raised for charity at a May fair in Exton.
Crowds of people attended the event, which was held at the Fox and Hounds pub in The Green on Sunday in aid of The Cinnamon Trust.
The trust is a specialist charity that supports elderly and terminally ill people and provides care for their pets.
A range of stalls were at the event, selling plants, bric-a-brac, jewellery and homemade produce, as well as a tombola.
Volunteers from the trust were also at the event explaining to people what the charity does.
Trust volunteer Marian Foers said: “It was a super day and I’m absolutely thrilled with how much was raised.
“We had a great response from people who wanted to find out what we do which was brilliant from a publicity point of view.
“We had great support despite it being a one-off event and the setting was perfect, the staff at the pub could not have done more.”
