Fairies will attempt to break world record for Anna’s Hope

A WORLD record could be broken on Sunday if enough fairies are at Burghley Park, near Stamford.

Anna’s Hope, which supports children and young people with brain tumours, is hoping 500 people will don fairy wings, a tutu and carry a wand in a bid to break the world record for the most fairies in one place.

People can register on the day and the tent will be open from midday. The count will be at 2pm.

The charity is also organising a fashion show and dinner at the Haycock Hotel in Wansford on September 14. Tickets are £15 from 01780 740492.
