ALL things Fairtrade have been celebrated during a week of activities.

Stamford Fairtrade Steering Group has been holding exhibitions and competitions in the gallery at Stamford Arts Centre to mark Fairtrade Fortnight.

The events will continue next week and there will also be a talk by Fairtrade Foundation officer Katie Franks tonight in the gallery at 6.30pm.

Rutland will also be celebrating next week. Banana farmer Moses Rene will be speaking to pupils at Casterton Business and Enterprise College today.

People can also follow a trail of businesses which sell Fairtrade products. Trail sheets are available from the Market Place on Saturday, March 3, or can be picked up from Beans Coffee Shop in Church Street, Oakham.

There will also be a Big Brew morning at Oakham Methodist Church on Saturday between 10am and midday and a Big Brew morning at 25 The Nook in Whissendine on Tuesday at the same time.
