A fashion show featuring outfits for men and women has helped raise £1,400 for a Rutland charity.
Held at the Falcon Hotel, in Uppingham, the event featured casual, smart and occasion wear sold in shops in the town.
There were fashions from labels including Cream, Pomorodo and Robell from the Twist & Turn boutique, men’s attire from Smalls, and bespoke wedding gowns that transform into evening dresses from Gown2Glam.
The show, in aid of For Rutland In Rutland, sold out all its 150 tickets.
Elspeth Marshall, partner at Twist & Turn said: “It was a very successful show. We had mostly women, but a few men too.
“There was a raffle for which lots of local companies contributed prizes.
“For Rutland In Rutland is a new charity that helps people who struggle financially when they have an illness, and we felt it was a cause that was worth our support.”
