Members of staff from an online education developer have built bat boxes that will be put up at Barnsdale Wood near Rutland Water.

A team of 12 producers and managers from EducationCity.com used their charity day to construct the boxes at the wood for the animals whose natural habitats are being destroyed by tree felling.

Assistant producer Heather Woods said: “The 12 of us spent the morning putting our DIY skills to good use and by lunchtime we had constructed 50 boxes.

“These will be put up soon in Barnsdale Wood near Rutland Water.

“We’d like to thank Becky, Lloyd and everyone at Rutland Water Nature Reserve for making this day such a success.”
