People have the chance to find out more about the launch of faster broadband in Rutland at roadshow events next week.
Superfast broadband is set to become available for residents and businesses throughout the county this summer as part of the Digital Rutland project.
People are now being given the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the scheme, which is being run by Rutland County Council and BT.
On Tuesday, the BT Showcase vehicle will be at High Street, Cottesmore, from 8am to 10am, at Tesco, in South Street, Oakham, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, the White Lion pub in Whissendine from 3pm to 4.30pm, and Rutland County Council’s offices in Catmose, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
On Wednesday, the roadshow will be at Ketton Library car park from 8am to 10am, Barrowden Village Hall, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, and Market Square in Uppingham, from 3pm to 4.30pm. For more, visit www.rutland.gov.uk/digitalrutland
Lincolnshire County Council has also signed a deal with BT to improve broadband. Work to upgrade exchanges between Bourne and Market Deeping is likely to start by the end of the year.
