A church was filled with colour as a flower arranging society held a festival to raise funds for two charities.
Members of Stamford Flower Club put 40 displays on show in St John’s Church between Thursday and Monday.
More than 800 visitors passed through the doors over the five days to browse the various arrangements.
About £3,000 was raised to be split between Wings for Warriors, a charity which retrains injured forces personnel as commercial pilots, and The Churches Conservation Trust.
Club chairman Marilyn Williams said: “It was a fantastic success.
“Members brought the church to life with colour, perfume and blooms.”
Marilyn thanked businesses which sponsored the event.
