The highlights of this year’s new look Kirkby Underwood country fair will be a flypast by planes both new and old.
Arrangements are well under way for the fair takes place on June 15 from 11am until 5pm in the village.
Chairman of the organising committee Louise Green said:“We are delighted to have heard that we have been allocated a flypast not only by the BBMF Lancaster bomber but also the RAF Red Arrows Display Team during the event.
“These wonderful aircraft are always a popular sight with visitors” she continued.
“In the evening there will be a barbecue, which is always very well supported”
Events on the Manor House Field include: a clay pigeon shoot, gun dog scurry, archery and a display of vintage tractors.
More activities are likely to be arranged before the day.

At the nearby village hall and its grounds there will be many other stalls, games, a grand draw, refreshments and a licensed bar.
The money raised at the event will be split between the church and the village hall.
