A disability group has received a £1,000 donation from the Freemasons.

Members of Bourne Gateway Leisure Club were presented with a cheque on Monday from The Lodge of Aveland, which meets at the New Masonic Centre in Roman Bank, Bourne.

The money will be used in the club’s aims to advance the personal development of people over the age of 18 with learning disabilities through greater leisure opportunities.

Group organiser Lesley Patrick, who is pictured receiving the cheque from Barry Harriman and Shayne Taylor, said: “The money will be very well used and it will give out members great pleasure.
