An intrepid group of more than 20 people are going to take part in a charity fire walk taking place at a Bourne pub.
The beer garden of The Nags Head pub in Bourne will be transformed into a burning hot coal walkway, to bring some warmth to proceedings at Christmas lights switch-on and late night shopping event in the town on November 30 .
So far more than 20 people have signed up to walk the gauntlet to raise money for charity, Little Heroes.
Little Heroes is a charity with the aim of helping children who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing smiles and distractions while they undergo their treatment. This is largely done through buying toys for paediatric oncology wards across the county.
Each walker is being sponsored to take park in the challenge and there will be collections on the night.
The walkers will cross the coals from about 8.30pm after receiving some training from experts.
