A FUNDRAISING party raised more than £150 for a charity close to the heart of the organiser.
Ellen Chisholm, who has been fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, helped organise the party, which took place in Stamford.
Lisa Johnson, a Jamie at Home representative selling celebrity chef Jamie Oliver products, held the party at her home.
The event was also supported by Mimosa Bakery, which provided cupcakes for sale as well as Handcrafted by Nikki, who offered handmade greetings cards.
The amount raised for the association was £150.36 and brings the total amount raised so far to more than £9,000.
Ellen, of Ermine Way, Stamford, has been inspired to organise the events by her friend Ned Cullen, who suffers from the disease. She is planning more events for this year, including climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
