Scores of dogs put their best paw forward as they competed in a range of categories on a glorious day on the Meadows in Stamford.
The annual Stamford Dog Show attracted plenty of visitors on Sunday.
More than 150 dogs were registered across two rings to compete in several categories, from pedigree classes to novelty contests such as best sausage catcher.
Competition was fierce but best in show, winning a portrait of their dog by artist Richard Agar, was basset fauve de Bretagne Joe, owned by the Foxons of Market Harborough.
Cocker spaniel Billie, owned by Jeremy Ball, from Stamford, was novelty best in show, winning a free sitting and picture from of Shutterbox Photography of Stamford.
