A COFFEE morning and garage sale raised cash for good causes.

The Butterfield Centre, in North Road, Bourne, hosted a garage sale and coffee morning on Saturday.

A total of 50 people enjoyed browsing around seven stalls.

Visitors picked up bargains from the bric-a-brac, book and cake stalls.

The event raised £250 which will be split between the centre’s funds and Friends of The Butterfield.

Centre manager Debbie Hague has praised the staff who volunteered to help at the sale.

She said: “I am very pleased especially as all the staff volunteered to come in and help on the morning.

“They helped to set up and run the stalls.”

She said that the drawing of the raffle was a highlight of the event.
