PEOPLE sold unneeded items from their garages to raise money for charity.
Residents of Blanchard Close, in Rippingale, held the garage sale on Sunday.
Two households set up stalls in their garages selling crockery, tools, electrical and gardening equipment and much more.
The sale was organised by Richard and Margaret Ayres and Sue Mylchreest
Richard said: “The day went quite well, we didn’t get quite as many people as we’d hoped but it wasn’t too bad.
“We made a donation of £50 to the Women’s Institute Denman College, near Oxford.
“We had about 60 people through the day and we put on tea, coffee and cakes as well.”
