A GARDEN fete raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Residents at The Almhouses in West Road, Bourne, held the event on Saturday amid glorious sunshine.
The fete featured bric a brac stall, tombola, raffle and refreshments and raised £1,275, which will be divided between the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
The hearing dogs also gave a demonstration to visitors and residents on the day.
Warden at the almshouses Sue Walton said: “My husband Roy and I and the 12 residents of the almshouses would like to thank everyone who attended and the people who donated things for the day.
“We would also like to thank the local shopkeepers who donated raffle prizes.”
