A range of plants including perennials, bedding tomatoes and runner beans, as well as garden tools, were sold at the event. Visitors also enjoyed refreshments.

Organiser and church member David Windsor said: “It was a very successful morning. We had a team of people selling more than 400 types of plants which we sold out.

“We had a very good crowd despite the wet weather and everyone had a good time.

“We made £400 which was great and I’m hoping to make it an annual event.”
