RYHALL Gardeners were out in force beautifying their village on Tuesday.
The 20-strong group had been supplied with three sacks of bulbs by the parish council and worked all morning to continue a planting scheme that they began last year.
Thanks to their efforts narcissus flowers should bloom on Essendine Hill, the corner of Bridge Street, outside the library and in Coppice Road next spring.
Ryhall Gardeners’ secretary Sue Conlon said last year’s planting was such a success that they were keen to do more.
“We had lots of very positive comments last year so we thought we would extend on that and make the village look even better,” she said.
The gardening group meets once a month to exchange ideas and plan fundraising events.
