A woodcarver crafted a bench based on the MPs’ expenses scandal to celebrate 30 years in business.

Glyn Mould, who runs workshops at Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre, spent three months carving the bench which he designed two years ago. It includes features from when the news broke of MPs’ expense claims, including the three party leaders, the Daily Telegraph newspaper which broke the story and a duck house which was one of the most talked-about expense claims at the time.

The bench is made of oak and includes some sections of 2,000-year-old bog oak which is an old oak from the Fens.
