Going the distance for dogs

Three Counties Dog Rescue, which is based in Bourne, has been given a boost ahead of Christmas thanks to the efforts of charity cyclist.

Coralie Huson, 30, a midwife at Peterborough City Hospital, completed a 100km sponsored cycle ride around the Isle of Wight on Sunday in aid of the charity, which based at Dawsmere Kennels.

Three Counties is run by Gyll Mauchline and volunteers are always trying to raise money to keep it going.

Coralie decided to raise money for the charity because her mother Gillian Glennsansum, of The Crescent, Morton volunteers there.

So far Coralie has raised £265 for the charity but it still looking for more support.
