A slimming consultant has challenged her group of clients to lose a combined total of 100lbs to raise money for a five-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy.

Kelli Taylor, of Truesdale Gardens, Langtoft, who is an Independent Cambridge Weight Plan consultant, wants her clients to take part in a sponsored slim to raise funds for Lily Ketteringham, who needs a £30,000 operation to help her walk unaided.

Lily, who lives in Doncaster, was born prematurely and diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She currently walks with a kaye walker and is mainly wheelchair bound but she has been accepted for an operation in the United States which when completed will help her walk.

Her grandmother Heidi, from Langtoft, is one of the slimmers who is supporting the cause. To donate to the group, visit www.justgiving.com/littlestepsforlilyfund and quote ‘Slimming for Lily’ in the messages section when donating.
