HANDMADE cards were on sale to raise money for a dementia charity.

Dementia Support South Lincs, which was set up in January, came to Bourne market on Thursday last week.

Cards cost £1.50 and members were giving out leaflets and raising awareness, while Jim Benson made balloon models for children.

Pat Johnson, who made the cards, said: ”We have all got partners with dementia so the charity is close to the heart.”

The stall was organised by Kate Marshall, who works for the Evergreen Care Trust.
