People are being asked whether they believe plans to improve sport and recreation facilities across the county during the next ten years are needed.
report produced by a group of independent experts recommends that in order to meet the demands of a growing population, sports facilities in and around Oakham are improved.
They highlight a swimming pool with a long-term lifespan, indoor multi-use space and specialist indoor facilities as the top priorities.
The full report can be read online at www.rutland.gov.uk or you can visit Ryhall Library from today to Friday next week, or Oakham Library, from Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 14, where a copy of the report accompanies a small public display. The report and any feedback gathered during consultation will be considered by Rutland county councillors within the next few months.
