Down’s syndrome group holding education day in Peterborough

An group for parents and carers of people with Down’s syndrome is holding an education day.

The Peterborough Area Down’s Syndrome Group, which serves Stamford, will welcome people to Peterborough United’s London Road stadium on Friday next week.

Lou Marsden from the Down’s Syndrome Association and paediatrician Dr Kabanda-Iga will be the main speakers. The day is open to parents and carers of all young people with additional needs and to professionals working in the area.

The event is being held in conjunction with Down’s Syndrome Awareness Day.
