Councillors to quiz ambulance service
A representative from East Midlands Ambulance Service is due to attend a council meeting to answer questions.
Stamford Town Council invited a representative to attend its meeting, which will be on Tuesday at 7pm.
The councillors are concerned about proposals by the service to replace ambulance stations with standby points and hubs.
The meeting will be held at Stamford Queen Eleanor School in Green Lane, instead of the council’s usual venue, the town hall.
The budget is also on the agenda.
Meanwhile, Bourne Town Council has organised for the ambulance service to hold a consultation event, which will be on Monday at 7pm at Bourne Corn Exchange.
