Have your say on health reforms

People can have their say about the development of Rutland Healthwatch at two events which have been organised by Rutland Local Involvement Network (Link).

As part of the reforms in the Health and Social Care Act, there will be a local Healthwatch in every area of the country, with a broader role than the current Links, which will operate from April next year.

Rutland Link chairman Kathy Reynolds said: “This will be our one chance to get the Healthwatch we think Rutland needs and we want everyone in the community to have a say on how that Healthwatch will be organised and function.”

People are welcome to attend the events which are being held at Manton Village Hall on November 21 at 12.30pm, and at The Gover Centre at Voluntary Action Rutland in Oakham from 6.15pm on November 22. For more information and to book visit www.rutlandlink.co.uk, e-mail rutlandlink@communitiesinpartnership.org.uk or call 0116 229 3103.
