Sign up for health walk groups across Lincolnshire ran by Walk 4 Life

PEOPLE are encouraged to sign up for health walks across Lincolnshire.

The Walk 4 Life groups are led by trained volunteer leaders and designed to be suitable for people of all abilities.

The new spring programmes will soon be available at Stamford Arts Centre, South Kesteven District Council offices, libraries and doctors’ surgeries.

The regular walks take place on Mondays from the Garden House Hotel, Stamford, at 2pm and Tuesdays from Bourne Children’s Centre at 1pm.

Wednesday walks start from either Bourne Wood or Sainsburys at 2pm. Call Rachel Smith on 01476 406309 for details.

A walk also takes place every Thursday in The Deepings at 2pm. Call Enid Withers on 01778 342936 for details on where the walks will start as the location varies each week.

Fortnightly walks leave from the Hare and Hounds in Haconby every other Friday. Call Kay Williams on 01778 570650 for details.

A Saturday walk takes place in Bourne every other week at 2pm. Call Jack Rackstraw on 01778 346598 for information on where the group will meet.
