People are being urged to offer their help in supporting people living with multiple sclerosis.

The Melton and Rutland branch of the MS Society is looking for people across the local area who could offer vital help and become support volunteers.

Support volunteers fulfil a crucial role in offering a listening ear and emotional support.

They help people with the disease to access the right services and grants, including for home adaptations and short breaks.

Volunteers also offer home, hospital and care home visits which can make a major difference to people who cannot leave their homes or who feel isolated.

To find out more information and to apply to become a volunteer, contact Judy Bullimore on 020 8438 0815 or judy.bullimore@mssociety.org.uk
