A support group for people suffering from arthritis presented two charities with donations as its final act before closing down.
Bourne Arthritis Support Group which came to an end after 18 years of helping people in the community donated a total of £900 to Arthritis Research UK and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The group made the presentation at its final meeting at Meadow Close Community Centre in Bourne.
The group raised the money at its regular raffles and collections at supermarkets.
Despite having about 20 members the group was disbanded as it has been unable to attract new committee members.
The group was a place where arthritis suffers could talk about their complaints with people who are going through the same thing and socialise.
