A woman who works as a carer for a motor neurone disease sufferer is organising a charity ball.
Caroline Alexander has already raised thousands of pounds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association with a tandem skydive earlier this year.
Caroline was inspired to do the daredevil challenge by Ned Cullen, of Queen’s Walk, Stamford, who has suffered from the muscle wasting disease since 2003.
Caroline has been Ned’s carer since 2008 and Ned’s friends, family and supporters have raised more than £10,000 for the charity in his honour.
Caroline, of Birch Road, Stamford, is determined to raise even more funds and is holding a Hollywood-themed charity ball at Stamford Arts Centre on Friday, November 30, at 7.30pm.
There will be live music, a two-course dinner, a disco, a complimentary glass of fizz and a licensed bar.
Tickets costy £40 each and are available by calling Caroline on 07952430877.
