Actor Hugh Jackman has spoken about his time teaching at Uppingham School in a BBC interview.

The box office star, best known for his roles as Wolverine in the X-Men films and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, was a teaching assistant at the boarding school during the winter term in 1987.

He spoke to the BBC about his time at the school after recognising reporter and former pupil Rollo Ross on the red carpet at Zurich Film Festival, where he picked up a Golden Icon award.

Hugh came back to visit his former school in May last year while filming Les Misérables.

The interview can be seen on the BBC website.
