More than £300 was raised in less than two hours at a busy village jumble sale at the weekend.
The event was held at South Luffenham Village Hall and scores of visitors turned out looking to make a purchase.
The sale was held to raise funds for a replacement roof at the church of St Mary the Virgin in the village, which is set to cost £40,000.
Books, bric-a-brac, clothes and toys were sold at the event and a cake stall also featured.
Helen Saunders, who helped organise the sale, said: “These events are always helpful as it all adds up. It’s always amazing the amount of stuff that’s sold. It was a fun day.”
