A Christmas fair at a village school raised more than £1,700.
The fair took place at Langtoft Primary School and was organised by the Friends of the school.
Nearly 200 people passed through the school doors to enjoy the festive day.
They took part in a huge range of activities including face painting, nail painting and decorating either baubles for the tree or a tasty biscuit.
Many of the youngsters also took advantage of the opportunity to visit Santa in his grotto and share with him what they hope to find under the tree.
Other attractions included a raffle, tombolas, cake stall, sweet shop, festive craft stands, as well as a bar and refreshments.
Headteacher James McCullough said: “Our new Friends of Langtoft School Committee certainly pulled out all the stops this year. The fair was a great success.
“We shall be using the funds raised to purchase a new series of reading books that children can share with their parents at home.”
Organisers thanked everyone who supported the event.
