Letter: Fair was full of traditional fare - 26/06/09

My family and I would like to express our thanks to the organisers and helpers of Castle Bytham Midsummer Fair.

We had a really lovely day, with lots of different things to do. The variety of live music was great and the children loved the old- fashioned fairground games.

The refreshments were very good, as was the variety of stalls. It was nice to see home-made produce, such as cakes and jams. The free car parking was also appreciated.

All this was helped by the wonderful weather. Thanks to all.
