Lincolnshire branch of the Royal British Legion will hold its annual service of rededication on Sunday.
The county service will begin with a wreath laying ceremony at 2.15pm at the war memorial in South Street, Bourne, when wreaths will be laid by Brigadier Barry Reeves, president of the branch and Carol Ticehurst, president of the women’s section.
This ceremony will be followed by a parade of standards at 2.20pm, which will march to Bourne Abbey Church for a service at 2.30pm. The salute will be taken by the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire Tony Worth.
The service will be attended by dignitaries, legion members, residents and supporters.
