A popular toddlers group has celebrated its seventh birthday.

Shining Stars runs every Tuesday morning at the United Reformed Chuch hall in Broad Street, Stamford.

It is a parent/carer and toddler group, which aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for toddlers to meet, chat and play.

A large group gathered to celebrate the seventh birthday earlier this month.

Louise Blackburn-Stout, who runs Shining Stars, said: “It is always a happy morning with mums dads grannies and carers all meeting and the children have fun too.”

Each session runs from 10am to 11.30am every Tuesday during term time.

The cost is £1 per family, per session, which includes toys, crafts, activities and refreshments.
