A606 closed after crash

A CRASH has closed the A606 between Empingham and Stamford.

Police say three vehicles were involved in the collision, which was reported just before 6pm.

One of the vehicles is thought to have turned over.

A man has been taken to hospital suffering from injuries believed to be serious.

Two other people have been injured.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to the scene.

Road closures were put in place at the Ingthorpe turn and the A1 sliproad on the A606 and traffic is being diverted
