Accident causes tailbacks in Collyweston

A CRASH in Collyweston caused tailbacks for motorists during rush hour.

Police were called to a two vehicle accident on Main Road, Collyweston, at about 4pm yesterday.

The woman driver of a car was taken to Peterborough District Hospital with minor injuries but there were no major injuries.

A police spokesman said the damage caused to the cars was so severe, it took about two hours to clear the road and recover the vehicles.

She apologised for delays to motorists.
