A drama group is calling for people to audition for its latest production.

Uppingham Theatre Company is producing Northanger Abbey at Uppingham Theatre from May 28 to 31 at 7.30pm on all dates.

The play has been adapted from the novel by Jane Austen by Brian Stokes who will be directing the production with support from members of the group.

The first read through of the play will be on Sunday at 2pm to 4pm and a further read through will be on Sunday, February 23 at 2pm.

Auditions are on Wednesday, February 26 at 7.30pm and Sunday, March 2 at 2pm. These all take place at Uppingham Church Hall.

There are many parts available which are suitable for experienced actors and someone who would like to try performing for the first time.

Uppingham Theatre Company always welcomes new members, as well as encouraging past members to return.
