A local artist has produced a new sign for a village shop.

Judy Swinfen, of Main Street, Greetham, has painted the signage for Greetham Village Shop and Post Office.

The shop was without a sign for a year after the previous one, which stood for more than 30 years, fell apart when it was taken down.

Shop owner Nicole-Marie Brown said: “This year we decided that we wanted to be proud of who and what we are and therefore we have had a new sign done.

“The lettering was hand painted by Judy and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work and many hours it took her to do.”
