A music producer has released a smartphone and tablet application for aspiring DJs.

Ben Frost, 25, from Egleton, launched Bass Drop Drum and Bass 1.0, last week.

The app gives DJs in the dubstep genre an easy way to create tracks and experiment with different sounds.

Ben said: “The release has been going well so far and I was even featured by appheroes.com on Friday.”

Ben picked up the skills to design the app while studying for a degree in systems and control at the University of Sheffield.

The app is available to download from iTunes.
