Men up and down the region have been growing moustaches for Movember - to support the charity that aims to ‘change the face of men’s health’.

At Toft House Hotel, Bourne, assistant manager George Sharman, head chef Adam Dowsett and front of house Mark Woolley grew their moustaches throughout November raising £105 through a quiz and generous golfers filling counter collection boxes. Mark said: “We all feel that we’ve achieved something.”

A Handful of Harmonies musical director Andrew Clingo, of Langtoft, raised £1,277, with a little extra help from fellow musicians. Some members of his choir sang carols for the shoppers in Red Lion Square, Stamford, where Andrew arrived to join his troops after shaving off his moustache.
