Residents and supporters of a care home made the most of a festive fair.
Digby Court Care Home in Bourne hosted the annual event on Saturday and staff were delighted that people in the town for the Bourne Christmas Market went to enjoy the activities on offer at the home.
There was a range of stalls to enjoy, a tombola, a grand raffle, and the mayor David Higgs dropped in. Father Christmas also made an appearance.
Activities coordinator Maria Fryer said it was a great event, which raised more than £1,000 for the residents’ amenities fund.
She said: “It went really well. It was open to everybody and we had a lot of support from people who came from the town, which was really wonderful.”
She particularly thanked an anonymous donor, who every year donates a couple of boxes of items to use on the stalls.
Maria added: “Without that amazing support, we wouldn’t be able to make so much so very grateful thanks to them.”
