Bourne Grammar School sold out its purpose-built drama theatre for three nights in December when it put on Alan Bennett’s The History Boys.

A cast made up of sixth form pupils put on a memorable production of Bennett’s play.

Headteacher Jonathan Maddox said: “The students worked together supremely well; it was obvious that they had over the months of preparation become a tightly-focussed team.

“I feel the entire cast triumphed in this production.

“It goes down as one of our very finest and most memorable Sixth Form plays.”
